Full Stack Developer

Who are we looking for?

We want to expand our team with an analytical, results-driven Back-end Developer. Together with our team members, you’ll troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. Your focus will be to build a better, more efficient program and create a better end-user experience.

You are an excellent team player who makes every project their own. You have good planning and time estimating skills and can keep an overview. You’re motivated and value continuing to learn to stay up to speed on best practices and new programming languages. Additionally, you are happy to assist other team members when needed.

You will use your understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a seamless experience for users.

The responsibilities that come with the job:

You proactively give suggestions for improvements and know what to do today to reach our long-term goals.

• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
• Participating in continuing education and training to stay up to speed on best practices, learn new programming languages, and assist other team members.
• Taking the lead on projects, as needed.

The requirements:

Apart from a relevant skillset, we ask for excellent communication skills. We’re looking for someone who is as knowledgeable as motivated, and as independent and self-starting as collaborative.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
• Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Javascript, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
• Excellent project and time management skills. Deadlines should motivate you, not scare you.
• Strong problem-solving skills—you like a challenge
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
